Join us as the "Bowed Not Broken Adaptive Series" presents "Tracy"
A Hero WOD event benefiting Transition Possible!
"Tracy"- honoring U.S. Army, Crpl. Tracy Willis, 21, of San Antonio, Texas. Assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division, Tracy was killed in a fire fight on August 26, 2007, while he and three other Army snipers fought off 12 insurgents in a close-quarter rooftop battle in Sammara, Iraq.
WOD is a 26' AMRAP of:
-7 Burpees
-7 Air Squats
-7 Box Jumps
-400 meter run
Why:
- To recognize the service and sacrifice that our country's military men and women make for our freedom and security.
-To honor the memory of one of San Antonio's own fallen heroes, Tracy Willis, who made the ultimate sacrifice.
-To raise money for local nonprofit, Transition Possible, whose mission is to bridge the gap between our wounded heroes and the community and to give these individuals the opportunity to heal both physically and emotionally through CrossFit.

August 25, 2012 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM (registration begins at 8:30 AM)

Cost:
It is $65 to participate. Each participant will also receive an event t-shirt. The $65 is tax deductible and all proceeds will go to benefit Transition Possible, a 501c3 non-profit.
